There are three things in this island and one is a church es el trabajo desarrollado durante la residencia internacional Bonfire con el tema Faith como motor principal. Se trata de un proyecto de investigación con dos aproximaciones muy dispares pero a su vez indivisibles. Mientras que hay una intención de encontrar mi propia fe a través de paseos tanto virtuales como terrenales, los paisajes sonoros creados confrontan la idea de esa búsqueda personal de la fe (representada como el silencio) desde el ruido de una religión dada por mi lugar de nacimiento y el contexto occidental, representada desde un archipiélago remoto en el medio del océano. There are three things in this island and one is a church is a research project with two very different but indivisible approaches. While there is an attempt to find my own faith through the walks in both virtual and terrenal landscapes, the soundscapes created are confronting the idea of seeking a personal faith -depicted as silence- from the noise of a religion given by my place of birth and the Western context.
